Introduction

Preventing overlap is most beneficial when there are existing polygons collected in the area.

There is a risk of measuring the same area twice when using offline data collection tools. This risk increases when the measured area already contains previously collected polygons. In such cases, there is a higher likelihood of measuring a new polygon that overlaps with an existing one.
